June 2018 Postmedia announced the launch of The GrowthOp, a comprehensive source of current and credible information on the cannabis industry for industry professionals, investors, and consumers. A marketing campaign was created to promote The GrowthOp which included various elements such as Advertisements across all of Postmedia's newspapers, digital and social networks as well as promotional materials used at events.
The target demographic for The GrowthOp leans more towards Generation X, with a professional and clean mature style. The campaign follows strict guidelines to ensure it is compliant with cannabis advertising regulations.
